The latest additions to the fleet
High season runs December through April, with consistent trade winds, low rainfall, and calm seas, ideal for cruising between Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, and La Désirade. Shoulder months of May and November offer 10 to 15 per cent lower rates and warmer water, though brief afternoon showers are more common. Water visibility remains excellent in both periods, rarely dropping below 20 metres.
A 60′-70′ catamaran typically accommodates eight guests across four en-suite cabins with generous deck space for open-air dining and sunbathing on the foredeck trampolines. If you prefer a motor yacht, vessels in the 75′-85′ range often offer four staterooms plus a spacious flybridge, swim platform, and a dedicated water-toy garage for the whole group to enjoy between anchorages.
Most charter yachts carry a tender, paddleboards, snorkel gear, kayaks, and towable inflatables as standard equipment. Larger vessels may also include jet skis, Seabobs, diving compressors, and fishing tackle for offshore trolling. Your Boatcrowd charter specialist can confirm the exact toy inventory for any yacht in the fleet before you book, and arrange additional equipment if needed.
The Advance Provisioning Allowance is typically 30 to 35 per cent of the base charter fee, paid before departure to the captain. It covers fuel, food, beverages, marina fees, and any additional excursions or special requests throughout the trip. The captain keeps a running account with receipts, and any unused balance is refunded in full at the conclusion of your charter.
Yacht charter Guadeloupe reveals a butterfly-shaped archipelago where rainforest-clad volcanoes rise on one wing and flat, sun-bleached coral islands stretch across the other, creating a cruising ground of extraordinary variety within just a few nautical miles. Drop anchor in the turquoise lagoon off Îlet du Gosier for a morning swim, then motor south to the sleepy harbours of Les Saintes, where brightly painted fishing boats line the quay and the aroma of freshly grilled lambis drifts from waterfront grills at lunchtime. The charter fleet includes motor yachts of 68′-98′, superyachts above 100′, and luxury catamarans from 55′, with over 50 vessels available across Guadeloupe and neighbouring Martinique. Peak season runs December through April under steady 15 to 20-knot trade winds and bright 28 °C skies; May and November deliver shoulder-season rates with warmer seas and noticeably fewer yachts on the horizon.
Daily rates begin at $4,300 on a catamaran and from $5,900 on a mid-size motor yacht of 68′-78′, plus APA of around 30 to 35 per cent to cover fuel, provisioning, and port fees. Guadeloupe’s calling card is its sheer duality, hike the steaming summit of La Soufrière on Basse-Terre in the morning, explore the Cousteau Reserve’s coral walls by midday, then lounge on Marie-Galante’s deserted Plage de la Feuillère by afternoon, all without a single overnight passage.
