Themis Superyacht

Dee Robinson Interiors shaped the rooms of Themis, while the exterior around them was drawn by Trinity Yachts, the shipyard that also built her, so hull and superstructure come from the same drawing office and the interior from a separate hand. She is a 157ft (48m) superyacht, built in 1999 and refitted in 2015, and her peak season falls from December through to March.

Where she cruises

Saint Francois in Guadeloupe is her home port, and her cruising takes in Guadeloupe and Martinique, so a group boarding at Saint Francois has more than a single coastline within her reach.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests, and a crew of eight looks after them, which for a family or two couples means the people working aboard outnumber the people on holiday; even with every bed taken, eight crew stay on duty for ten.

Comfort under way

Themis cruises at 18 knots with 28 at the top of her range, and her stabilisers are rated for zero speed rather than for motion alone, so she sits as level with the anchor down as she does while making way between anchorages.

On deck

A jacuzzi is set outdoors on her deck, so a soak comes with open sky above it, and a gym aboard means a training session does not wait for a return to shore.

Water toys

A Wave Runner carries a single rider at a time, while SUP boards offer a quieter way over the water; water skis, a wakeboard and towables are for being pulled along at speed, and fishing and snorkelling gear look after what lies below the surface. A beach tender takes guests ashore and brings them back.

Charter notes

Themis is offered for charter by the week or as a three-day hire, and she suits two couples sharing her or a family taking all of her cabins. She can also have eighteen aboard by day, so the party on the water can be larger than the party that sleeps aboard.
