Mini K2 Superyacht

Two Yamaha Jet Blaster jet skis ride aboard Mini K2, a 99ft (30m) superyacht that was among the first two hulls Extra Yachts completed in its 99 Fast series, refitted in 2023 and finished to an Italian design, with a main saloon that draws in plenty of natural light.

Accommodation and crew

Four staterooms sleep eight guests, with two master staterooms that each have their own en suite and two twin cabins. A crew of four looks after those eight, so every two guests have a crew member to themselves, and her season peaks from December through March.

Comfort under way

The Fast in her series name shows at sea, where Mini K2 cruises at 28 knots and can reach 37, so distance between stops costs little of a day. Her stabilisers are rated for zero speed as well as for running, which keeps the motion down when she lies stopped and when she is pressing on.

On deck

The aft deck is very large, and two side balconies unfold from it to widen the space further. She also has an alfresco dining table, an aft deck lounge and an outdoor bar, with a bimini shading the flybridge and a foredeck kept for the open air. A hydraulic swim platform lowers to the water, so stepping in for a swim is as easy as leaving a room.

Water toys

Six toys travel with her in all: besides the jet skis, two Seabobs, two paddleboards so two can paddle at the same time, a wakeboard for towing and snorkelling gear for the water she anchors in, while a 16ft Williams tender runs guests ashore and comes with her hire.

Where she cruises

Nassau in the Bahamas is her home port, and from the Bahamas she works the Turks and Caicos, the British Virgin Islands, St Martin and St Barths. Her grounds run on to Antigua and Barbuda, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia, the Grenadines and Grenada, so the choice of waters is the guest's rather than the yacht's.

Charter notes

Mini K2 suits a family or a party of friends who want pace, a crew of their own and a deck of toys, and a charter of her need not stop at the eight who sleep aboard, since by day she carries twelve.
