G2 Motor Sailer
About G2
A refit in 2025 has brought G2 up to date, with an interior by Rhoades Young held inside exterior lines from Tripp Design. She is a 128ft (39m) Vitters motor sailer, built in 2009.
Where she cruises
Her home port is Gros Islet in St Lucia, and of the eight yachts based there she is the second longest. Her range covers the waters of St Lucia, Martinique and Guadeloupe, so there is more than a single stretch of coast to pick an anchorage from.
Accommodation and crew
Four cabins sleep eight guests, and for a day on the water sixteen can be aboard. A crew of six looks after them, which comes close to a crew member for each guest staying the night. The cabins are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi and satellite television reach through the yacht.
Comfort under way
She settles into a 10-knot cruise with 20 knots available when there is distance to make up, her peak months being January, February, March and December.
Water toys
A beach tender handles the runs in to shore. Towable toys, water skis and a wakeboard are aboard for guests who like being pulled along behind, and a kayak, snorkelling kit and fishing tackle are there for anyone who would rather take it at their own pace.
Charter notes
G2 suits a family, or friends travelling together. Bookings run by the week, or for three days if a shorter hire suits the group.
