Legendary Superyacht

Her exterior lines are Paul Frederickson's and her interior Jonathan Quinn Barnett's, a pairing Northcoast Yachts delivered in 2000, with a refit following in 2017. Legendary is a 121ft (37m) superyacht.

Water toys

Eight toys travel with Legendary: water skis, a wakeboard and a kneeboard for towing behind the boat, SUP boards and a kayak that run on arm power, and snorkelling and fishing gear as well. Her beach tender covers the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Saint Francois, in Guadeloupe, is her home port, and she cruises the waters of Guadeloupe and Martinique, which puts two separate cruising grounds within reach of the same boat.

Accommodation and crew

Four air-conditioned cabins sleep eight guests, and by day she can have sixteen aboard, twice the overnight number. A crew of five runs her around those eight.

Comfort under way

Stabilisers take the roll out of a passage, and the zero-speed system carries on working once she has stopped, so she stays settled at anchor too. She cruises at 12 knots and tops out at 22, and she is in service all year, January, February, March and December being her busiest months.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends taking the whole boat on a week's hire, and WiFi and satellite television reach aboard, so an anchorage need not mean losing contact with home.
