Sandbank Superyacht

Daylight reaches the owner's cabin of Sandbank from above, through the glass floor of the dip pool on the foredeck that sits directly over it, and the rest of her is laid out with the same appetite for light: large windows in that cabin and a skylight above the central staircase. She is a 111ft (34m) Gulf Craft superyacht built in 2023, her exterior lines and interior styling drawn with Phathom Studio of the Netherlands.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep ten guests, with room for twelve aboard by day. The owner's suite is the cabin on deck, with a dressing room, an en-suite shower room in ivory marble and a television set into the bulkhead, while the remaining cabins are on the lower deck, a VIP suite among them. Six crew look after the ten, so there is more than a single crew member to every pair of guests, and they are a professional team set up for families.

On deck

The upper deck holds a skylounge with an asymmetric plan, a bar under a large television screen and an L-shaped sofa, and the upper deck aft has an alfresco dining area with open seating and space for sun lounging. Sunpads flank the pool on the foredeck, a swim platform gives a direct way into the sea, and underwater lights light the water around her hull at night. Inside, the main-deck saloon and dining area are finished in dark marble with natural wood in a matte finish, and the staircase that joins her decks is glass and Perspex with curving bronze banisters.

Water toys

Seven toys go with Sandbank, and an Aiglis Jet Tender carries guests ashore. Two Seabobs and two SUP boards put two riders and two paddlers in the water at once, a water ski, a wakeboard and two donut inflatables are there for towing, and snorkelling gear lets guests look below the surface. Toys and the tender live in a lazarette on the lower deck at the stern.

Where she cruises

Nassau in the Bahamas is her home port. Her grounds run from the Bahamas to Anguilla, St Barths, Antigua and Barbuda, Martinique and Grenada, so a party can book her for a coastline close to home or a long way from it.

Charter notes

Sandbank is for hire by the week or for a shorter stay, her peak falling in December, January, February and March, and she suits two couples or a family of up to ten, with the shaded cockpit seating on the main deck aft giving them a place outdoors out of the sun.
