Seahawk Motor Sailer

Scuba diving travels aboard Seahawk, and the ship around it is a 194ft (59m) Perini Navi motor sailer with zero-speed stabilisers, so she rolls less while divers are in the water and stays steadier at anchor whenever her engines are stopped. She was built in 2013, refitted in 2018, and Christian Liaigre drew her interior.

Water toys

She carries eight toys. A Wave Runner jet ski gives the fast rides, a Seabob comes along too, and water skis, a wakeboard and a set of inflatables wait for anyone who wants to be towed or to climb on something that floats. Snorkelling gear serves the guests who would rather stay at the surface, and a beach tender carries the party ashore.

Where she cruises

Pointe a Pitre in Guadeloupe is her home port, and no yacht based there is longer than Seahawk. From it she works the waters of Guadeloupe, Martinique and Grenada, three separate grounds to choose between from the same starting point.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep twelve guests, and a crew of eleven runs the ship for them, which is close to a crew member for every guest.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 12 knots and can make 22 knots when there is distance to cover, with the months from December to March her busiest of the year.

On deck

A deck jacuzzi puts warm water out under the open sky, and a gym means a guest can keep up a routine without going ashore for it.

Charter notes

Seahawk suits two couples or a family who want to dive from the boat they sleep on, and she is offered for a week's hire or a three-day charter. By day she can take eighteen aboard, so a family has room for a wider party than her cabins hold.
