For the peak November–April season, five to seven months’ lead time is advisable, with Christmas–New Year and Chinese New Year the most competitive periods. The Advance Provisioning Allowance is typically 25–35% of the base charter fee and covers fuel, food, beverages, national-park entry fees, and any excursion costs.
