Xanadu Superyacht

Xanadu carries a sauna with a shower of its own, and her master cabin on the main deck sits under an overhead skylight, with gold-plated fixtures in the bathroom. This 112ft (34m) superyacht left the Moonen yard in 1997, and a two-year refit finished in 2022 gave her an interior by Newcruise Yacht Projects.

Where she cruises

Phuket in Thailand is her home port, and she cruises Thailand and Malaysia, reaching the Anambas Islands of Indonesia. The Maldives and the Seychelles are within her range too, and it is island water throughout, with anchorages to swim from and shores to walk.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins, each with a private bathroom and shower, sleep eight: the master, a VIP and two more doubles, with a sofa bed adding a ninth berth for a child. Six crew look after those eight, close to a crew member for each guest.

Comfort under way

Stabilisers hold her steady under way and at anchor, so there is less roll moving or stopped, and she cruises at 10 knots with 14 available; her peak months run from December to March.

On deck

The flybridge has sunbeds, a dining table and a barbecue, so a meal can be cooked and eaten outdoors, and a swim platform puts the water a step away.

Water toys

Nine toys come with her: two jet skis, which take two riders at a time, two Seabobs, two paddleboards, a kayak, water skis and a towable tube, along with snorkelling and fishing gear, and rendezvous scuba diving can be arranged. Her 13ft tender handles the trips ashore.

Charter notes

Xanadu suits a family or a group of friends, and twelve can be aboard for a day on the water. She can be hired for three days as well as by the week, so a family has her for a full week or friends for a shorter stay.
