Destiny I Motor Yacht

A Williams jet tender travels with Destiny I, so going ashore from an anchorage is simple, and a Seabob can be arranged on request. She is a 64ft (20m) Princess motor yacht, launched in 2015.

On deck

Her cockpit has room to dine in, and the flybridge carries a wet bar and a dining area in the open air. The hydraulic bathing platform lowers to make getting in and out of the sea easy.

Water toys

Two stand-up paddleboards mean a pair of guests can be on the water at once, and a towable donut comes too. Snorkelling and fishing equipment are aboard, so both need nothing brought from home.

Where she cruises

Destiny I keeps her home port at Phuket in Thailand, with December, January, February and March her busiest months, and she can run north to the Similan Islands or east to the Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay. The limestone country around Krabi and the lagoon at Koh Hong are within her Thailand cruising too.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins, three of them en suite, sleep eight: two doubles, a twin and a bunk, with the full-beam master taking the width of the hull. A captain, a crew member and a hostess who cooks make up her crew of three.

Comfort under way

A Seakeeper gyro stabiliser cuts roll under way and at anchor, so she is settled on passage and overnight, and she cruises at 20 knots with 30 in reserve. A water maker keeps fresh water in steady supply.

Charter notes

Destiny I suits a family or friends who want the water close, with her crew handling the tender and the meals. Her charter runs to a week, three days, or a day hire with up to fifteen aboard, so a larger group can come along for the day.
