Liquid Asset Motor Yacht

A 2025 refit has brought a 2021 boat up to date, and Liquid Asset, a 53ft (16m) motor yacht from Galeon, uses 220 litres of fuel an hour; her salon's wide windows keep the sea in sight from inside.

On deck

Her flybridge is the open-air room of the boat, with seats to lounge on, a table to eat at, a bar and views on all sides. A cushioned sunpad area at the bow gives a flat place in the sun, while the aft deck keeps shade and easy water access a step from the salon, and a swim platform makes getting in and out of the sea simple.

Water toys

Nine toys travel with her: a paddleboard and a kayak for quiet paddling, water skis, a Ronix 144 Vault wakeboard and Airhead towables for being pulled behind, and a 12ft water trampoline to swim out to and climb on. Snorkelling gear covers the view below the surface, and the tender goes ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Phuket, and the coast of Thailand, hidden bays included, is where she cruises, with December through March her busiest months.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six: a full-beam master with its own ensuite and wide windows over the water, a second double and a twin. Air conditioning and WiFi reach throughout, and a crew of two look after everyone aboard.

Comfort under way

She runs at 20 knots with 25 at the top, and her semi-open helm lets guests watch her being navigated from a comfortable seat.

Charter notes

Liquid Asset suits a family or friends who want to see Thailand from the water, and she goes out by the week, for three days, for a day or as a half-day hire. Six sleep aboard, and ten can be aboard for a day on the water, so more can join than stay the night.
