Camara C Motor Yacht

Camara C came out of a refit in 2021, and the hull beneath it was launched by Yarrow & Co in 1961 – two dates that between them say most of what she is. She is a 105ft (32m) motor yacht with air conditioning through her cabins and Wi-Fi aboard, so her years cost her guests nothing in comfort or in staying contactable.

Comfort under way

Her pace is unhurried, ten knots in normal running and twelve when she is pushed, which means the water between anchorages passes slowly rather than in a rush.

Water toys

Six toys travel with her. A jet ski takes a rider out beyond the anchorage and two kayaks put a pair of paddlers afloat at the same time, and there is a SUP board as well, plus towables for the tender to pull and snorkelling gear for whoever wants to look under the surface. The tender is 13ft, enough to carry a group ashore.

Where she cruises

Phuket is the home port of Camara C, and her cruising reaches through Thailand and across into Malaysia, two coastlines she can work along at her own steady speed.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests, in a king, four queens and a twin, and twelve is also what she carries by day. A crew of six runs her, a pair of guests to each of them, and her strongest months are December, January, February and March.

Charter notes

Camara C suits two couples travelling together, or a family taking her cabins between them, and she can be hired for a full week or for a shorter stay, which lets a group have a crewed boat of this size for as long as their time allows.
