Sea Princess Motor Yacht

Registered for 20 guests on a day trip, Sea Princess can take a party far larger than the group she sleeps overnight, which suits a big family gathering or a circle of friends out on the water. She is a Defever 49, a motor yacht of 49ft (15m) built in 1983 and refitted in 2019.

Water toys

Her extended swim platform is set up for fishing and water sports, and a deep custom ladder makes getting into the sea and back out again simple for swimmers and snorkellers of any age.

Where she cruises

Phuket is her home port and the Andaman Sea her cruising water, with January, February, March and December her peak months; routes through Thailand are settled with the guests aboard rather than fixed in advance.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six overnight: a double master with its own ensuite bathroom, and two bunk cabins forward sharing separate toilet and shower rooms. Three crew look after the six aboard, a small team for a small group.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots and tops out at 9.5, an unhurried pace from anchorage to anchorage.

On deck

The flybridge carries sofas and a bench seat beside the helm, with further seating on the foredeck and in the aft cockpit, so a group can spread out in the open air. Inside, the saloon has panoramic windows and a television, the galley keeps cold drinks within reach, and the pilothouse sofa gives an air-conditioned seat with a view out.
