For the peak dry season of April to October, six to eight months’ lead time is recommended, particularly during July–August when international visitor numbers surge. Christmas and New Year are also high-demand windows. The base rate covers the yacht, professional crew, insurance, and standard equipment including snorkelling gear and the tender. Fuel, provisions, beverages, port fees, dive-guide services, and any cultural excursions ashore are funded through the APA (30–35% of the charter fee). Indonesian VAT at 11% applies to the base rate, and any unspent APA is refunded at the end of the voyage.
Absolutely – and it’s one of Indonesia’s most spectacular routings. The eastbound passage from Bali to Komodo via Lombok and Sumbawa takes four to five days with generous stops at volcanic islands, deserted beaches, and world-class dive sites along the way.
