Suku Power Boat
About Suku
Undercover banquette seating runs down both sides of her cabin, and the interior is wide enough to hold a whole group under cover. Suku is a 49ft (15m) power boat, built in 2013 by Custom Made as a double-decker for sport, leisure and diving.
Water toys
Snorkelling gear comes in a range of sizes, so it fits the guest rather than the other way round, and a stand-up paddleboard lets a rider head off from her under their own power. Tackle for line fishing is aboard too, with a large inflatable sea mattress to float on.
Where she cruises
Her home port is Bali, and she is quick enough for private transfers out to the Gili Islands and Lombok. Nearer at hand are Nusa Penida, Lembongan and the coast off Nusa Dua, and she cruises Indonesia all year, with December and January to March her strongest months.
Accommodation and crew
A crew of three runs her for parties of up to 20 by day, and there is a cabin forward with its own toilet, plus a freshwater shower so guests can rinse the salt off after a swim.
Comfort under way
Three engines drive her to a 30-knot cruise and 42 knots flat out, which means a far-off bay costs less time under way.
On deck
Open deck space at the bow and at the stern spreads the group out, and the flybridge holds a lounge and viewing deck set high for the longer view. Her sound system takes music from a phone by Bluetooth, and a barbecue can be run on board.
Charter notes
She suits a big group who want a day of swimming, snorkelling and fishing off a boat that can also cover distance, with half-day and full-day hire both available and a certified crew handling her throughout.
