Burjuman Motor Yacht

Burjuman spreads her living space over three levels, so a group has more than a single room to spread into: an air-conditioned saloon with a lounge and dining area, a galley with stove, microwave, refrigerator and icemaker, and open deck above. She is a 57ft (17m) Aicon motor yacht, Italian-built in 2004.

Where she cruises

Bali is her home port and her cruising is all in Indonesia, year round, January, February, March and December being her peak months. Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida lie within easy reach, the coast off Nusa Dua closer again, and Gili Island and Lombok are within her range as well.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six overnight: two double masters, each with its own en-suite, and a twin with a bathroom to itself. A crew of four runs her, four pairs of hands for six guests.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots with 34 on tap, which brings more of Indonesia within a day's reach. Wi-Fi covers the boat, keeping guests in touch while she moves.

On deck

The flybridge lounge on her top level carries a BBQ grill and room to sit in sun or shade, a lounge deck sits at the rear, and the bow is open space of its own. A swim platform puts the water a step away.

Water toys

An 11ft tender carries guests ashore, and aboard there is a paddleboard, snorkelling gear in a range of sizes, tackle for line fishing and inflatables including a large sea mattress and a giant float; a jet ski can be hired with her.

Charter notes

Burjuman suits families and groups of friends, collected from hotel or villa in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Half-day and full-day cruises are part of what she does, with up to 12 aboard, so a group larger than her cabins can still spend a day on the water with her.
