Velocean Motor Yacht

Velocean was put together with divers in mind, with a dive deck, Nitrox aboard and a camera room, so a group can kit up and keep their camera gear in a space made for it. She is a Custom Made motor yacht of 170ft (52m), delivered in 2020.

On deck

Out in the open air she has a deck jacuzzi and a sun deck, dining is laid indoors and outside with a bar, and massage is available aboard. The swim platform puts the sea a step away rather than a climb down.

Water toys

Four 5.2m dinghies with 40hp outboards travel with her, so more than a single party can head ashore at once, along with a paddleboard and snorkelling gear for time spent in the water.

Where she cruises

Raja Ampat, in Indonesia, is her home port, and she cruises Indonesia year-round, with January, February, March and December her peak months; a hire with her stays in these waters.

Accommodation and crew

Ten cabins take eighteen guests overnight, two with queen beds, six twin and two single, and the suites look out over the water, each with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Twenty-four crew run her, more than a crew member for every guest, and Wi-Fi reaches the lounge areas.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 18 knots with 25 knots in hand, enough to shift anchorage without losing much of the day, and she carries full safety equipment with a crew trained on it.

Charter notes

Velocean suits a large family or a group of friends with divers among them: eighteen can be aboard by day as well as overnight, and she can be chartered for a week or for a shorter break.
