Vedanta Power Boat
About Vedanta
A Zipwake Dynamic Stability System holds Vedanta level at speed, and there is plenty of speed to hold: she tops out at 45 knots and cruises at 32, which shortens the crossing between islands. She is a 39ft (12m) RHIB, a Custom power boat delivered in 2024, drawn by the architect Alexis Dornier together with the naval architect Tresno Seery.
Comfort under way
Her seating is shock-absorbing, so the slap of a fast hull on the water is taken by the seat and not by the guest. She is designed to ISO standard and is ABYC compliant, and she carries night vision, which gives her crew a clear view of the water after dark.
On deck
The cabin is air-conditioned, so there is a cool place to sit away from the sun, and a Fusion entertainment system carries music aboard. Towels and dry bags come with her, along with bottled water, soft drinks and snacks, and she has a marine toilet.
Water toys
Snorkelling gear travels with her, so wherever she stops a guest can go straight over the side, and she runs to nearby islands for surfing and sightseeing as well.
Where she cruises
Bali is Vedanta's home port and Indonesia her working ground, with December to March her busiest stretch. Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida are within her reach, as are Lombok and the Gilis, and further out lie Komodo, Moyo, West Sumbawa and Sumba, so a party can snorkel, surf or sightsee off the islands there.
Accommodation and crew
Vedanta takes twelve guests by day, and a crew of two looks after them, with self-inflating life jackets carried for the party.
Charter notes
She suits a group of up to twelve who want the run between islands to be quick and steady rather than something to be endured, and she is available for day charter, half-day hire or an inter-island transfer, so the crossing itself becomes part of the outing.
