Prana Superyacht

Dubois drew the exterior of Prana, and Alloy Yachts built her in 2018 as a 180ft (55m) superyacht with scuba diving equipment and a spa aboard, so guests can go beneath the surface and come back to a massage.

Water toys

Diving leads what she carries, with snorkelling gear for anyone who would rather stay near the surface and fishing tackle for anyone who would rather bring something back. A single Seabob, paddleboards and a kayak give quieter ways across the water, while water skis, a wakeboard and a towable tube are for being pulled along at speed, and inflatable toys make up the rest of the eleven items she carries. Her beach tender runs everyone ashore and back.

Where she cruises

Prana keeps Raja Ampat as her home port and cruises Indonesia, and December, January, February and March are her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Nine cabins sleep eighteen guests, two of them with king beds, four with queens and three fitted as twins, and a crew of eighteen looks after them, a crew member for every guest sleeping aboard.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers steady her at anchor as well as under way, so the roll drops whether she is lying still or moving between stops, and with a cruising speed of 8 knots and a top speed of 11 knots she moves at an unhurried pace.

Charter notes

Prana suits a large family or a group who dive together, and she is available to hire by the week or for a three-day charter in Indonesia. By day she can carry twenty-five, so a party larger than her berths can still be aboard together.
