Aliikai Superyacht

Aliikai's hull is built from ironwood, and at 135ft (41m) she is a superyacht from the hands of Pak Haji Baso, refitted between 2019 and 2021.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots and can reach 12, the unhurried pace of a heavy timber hull.

On deck

The air-conditioned indoor lounge and bar is ringed with windows, and folding glass doors open onto a covered outdoor lounge and dining area for meals in the open air. In the evening the upper-deck lounge becomes a cinema under the stars, and a massage therapist works aboard.

Water toys

Full scuba equipment, nitrox and PADI dive masters mean certified divers get in the water quickly, and there is snorkelling gear for the rest. Two tandem sea kayaks and paddleboards suit a slow look along a shoreline, and a beach tender takes guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Komodo is Aliikai's home port and Raja Ampat, in Indonesia's West Papua province, a second base. She cruises Indonesia year-round, December through March her busiest months, between the dragons and pink sand beaches of Komodo National Park, the coral gardens of the Raja Ampat archipelago and the deep walls of the Banda Sea.

Accommodation and crew

Seven cabins sleep fifteen guests, and twenty can be aboard by day. Each has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning: two owner's cabins with private terraces, two ocean-view window cabins on the upper deck, porthole and family cabins below. King beds convert to twins on request, and a crew of 14 is close to a crew member per guest.

Charter notes

Aliikai suits a large family or a group of friends, divers above all. A charter runs by the week, or three days for a shorter rental, and her dive area has a shower to warm up in and a ventilated room for camera gear, giving divers a place of their own.
