Mykonos is one of Greece’s busiest charter hubs, and the most desirable yachts for July and August are often booked by late winter. We recommend reserving at least six to nine months ahead for peak season to secure the best vessel and itinerary options. Shoulder-season charters in May–June or September can typically be confirmed three to four months in advance with a wider selection.
High season runs from late June through August, when demand drives charter rates to their annual peak and Mykonos’ marinas and anchorages are at their busiest. Shoulder-season voyages in May–June and September–October can reduce the base charter rate by 15–25%, with the added bonus of quieter anchorages around Rhenia and Delos and more relaxed pace ashore.
Luxury catamarans from 55 ft typically accommodate six to ten guests across three to five cabins, motor yachts in the 68–98 ft range carry eight to twelve guests in four to five ensuite staterooms, and superyachts above 100 ft can host twelve or more across five to seven luxurious suites. Greek maritime regulations cap overnight guests at twelve on most commercially registered charter yachts.
