YL Three Motor Yacht

Three places to stretch out in the sun – the bow, the sundeck and a broad aft deck – mean a group can spread out rather than crowd a single space aboard YL Three, an 80ft (24m) Mangusta motor yacht whose deck lounge has seating enough for everyone to gather.

On deck

The cockpit is laid in teak and has a shower of its own, so there is somewhere to rinse off after a swim, and a swimming ladder makes getting out of the sea easy. A hydraulic gangway handles stepping on and off at the quay.

Water toys

A Seadoo Spark jet ski rides with her along with two Seabobs, which puts two guests in the water at the same time, while two paddleboards and snorkelling gear suit anyone after something slower. The tender runs guests ashore.

Where she cruises

YL Three keeps her berth at Mykonos in Greece, and her cruising stays within Greece, July and August her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins take the nights: a master with a king bed, a VIP with a queen, and a twin that carries a pullman berth as well. Six guests sleep aboard and a crew of three looks after them, two guests to each crew member, and the cabins are air-conditioned.

Comfort under way

Built in 2010 and refitted in 2021, she runs a pair of MAN engines, cruising at 24 knots with 29 in reserve, which keeps time under way short.

Charter notes

YL Three suits a family or a group of friends travelling together, and day and half-day hire brings as many as 25 aboard, well past her overnight number, so a wider circle can share the water for the day.
