YL Five Motor Yacht

Two Seabobs travel with YL Five, so a pair of guests can take to the water at the same time. She is a 42ft (13m) motor yacht from Bluegame, delivered in 2022.

Accommodation and crew

Two cabins sleep four guests: a king bed in the owner's cabin amidships, and a dining area forward that converts into a double. A crew of two looks after them, and for a day on the water she can carry ten.

Comfort under way

A pair of Volvo Penta IPS diesels take her to 35 knots, with 30 knots her cruising pace. High edges run along her walkaround side decks for safe movement in open water, and the central control station, with its reversed glass, keeps the view clear when manoeuvring.

On deck

The cockpit is large and a full tent cover can close it in, while sunbeds on the sunroof give a second place to lie out. A telescopic hydraulic gangway makes going ashore straightforward, air conditioning runs in the cabins and outside, and underwater lights pick out the sea around her.

Water toys

Two paddleboards go along with the Seabobs, so two guests can cover quiet water under their own power, and snorkelling gear opens up what lies below the surface.

Where she cruises

Her berth is at Mykonos and her cruising stays within Greece, the peak of her year falling in July and August.

Charter notes

Two couples are the party she fits best. She also runs day and half-day charter with room for ten aboard, so a short hire in Greece puts a larger group on the water.
