Starburst III Superyacht

The exterior of Starburst III comes from Unique Yacht Design and her interior from H2 Yacht Design, a separate studio for the profile and for the rooms a guest lives in. Bilgin built her in 2017 as a 157ft (48m) superyacht, and she was refitted in 2019.

On deck

Starburst III carries a beach club, which brings the sea within easy reach for a swim straight off the yacht, and a jacuzzi on deck gives warm water in the open air.

Water toys

A Seadoo jet ski and a Seabob travel with her, along with water skis for a tow and snorkelling gear for a look beneath the surface, five toys in all, and a beach tender carries guests ashore and back again.

Where she cruises

Her home port is in the Cyclades of Greece, where she is the longest of the nine yachts based there, and she works Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, three countries' waters to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in five cabins, and by day she can carry eighteen, so a larger group can share the daylight hours without sleeping aboard. Nine crew run her for ten guests, near enough a crew member apiece, and her peak months fall in July and August. Air conditioning keeps the cabins cool, and Wi-Fi with satellite television keeps the party connected.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers damp her roll at anchor as well as under way, so she sits level whether stopped or moving, and she cruises at 12 knots with 22 knots in hand when there is distance to cover.

Charter notes

Starburst III suits two couples travelling together as readily as a family, and beyond the full week her owner offers her for a three-day charter, so a shorter hire of her is on offer as well.
