Shipyard Italy est. 1981
Tilli Antonelli, Fausto Filippetti and Giuliano Onori set up Cantiere Navale dell'Adriatico at Mondolfo in 1981 doing repair work. They launched their own first boat, the Pershing 45, in 1985 — aggressive, fast, and the first yacht fitted with a hydraulic gangway.
Fulvio De Simoni styled that boat and has styled Pershings ever since, which is why forty years of the range reads as one continuous idea rather than a series of restarts. The engineering follows the same single question: how fast can a yacht this size reasonably go. Surface-piercing drives came in as soon as they proved themselves, and waterjets and gas turbines appear further up the range.
The GTX line is the recent broadening — same profile and pace, but with the deck space and beach club a week aboard actually needs. It is a fair acknowledgement that speed alone is a day-boat argument, not a charter one.
Pick a Pershing when the itinerary is ambitious: island-hopping that would be a slog at 12 knots becomes an easy morning. Our fleet runs 16m to 24m.
