A triple engine room is the number that opens Caffeine's story. Pershing built her in 2023 as the GTX116, fitting three MAN V12-2000 units, each producing 2000 horsepower. For a buyer, that spread of power is what holds her at a 30-knot cruise. She lies in Miami today, ready to be seen.
Build and provenance
Pershing built Caffeine in 2023 as the GTX116, a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull that runs 35 metres, or 116 feet, overall. Her draft is 1.5 metres, shallow enough to open up harbours and anchorages a deeper-draft yacht her size could not reach.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins aboard Caffeine, an average of two guests per cabin.
Performance and engineering
Three MAN V12-2000 engines, each rated at 2000 horsepower, drive Caffeine to a 30-knot cruise. Stabilisers are fitted, holding her level at anchor as well as under way, so an evening on board stays comfortable rather than rolling with the swell.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge carries a jacuzzi and fold-down terraces that open the sides of the yacht to the water, with a swim platform and sun deck completing the outdoor spaces. Starlink and satellite connectivity keep her connected well offshore, and air conditioning covers the interior. Below, a wine cellar, underwater lighting and a tender garage round out what she carries.

Caffeine lies in Miami. Boatcrowd arranges her viewings and is there for each one, and once an offer is accepted, we bring in the surveyor and set up the sea trial before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
