Build and provenance
She is a Pershing 82, a planing sports yacht on a fibreglass hull with a carbon fibre superstructure that keeps weight down where it matters most for speed. Fulvio De Simoni is behind both her exterior and interior design. At 24 metres, or 79 feet, and 74 gross tons, with a 5.5-metre beam and a 1.4-metre draft, she sits low and wide for stability at pace.
Layout and accommodation
The full-beam owner's stateroom sits amidships, with a forward VIP cabin and two twin cabins completing the four-cabin layout, each with its own en suite. Retractable glass doors open the main salon to the outside, and a crew of three keep the yacht running without taking up guest space.
Performance and engineering
Twin 2,640 hp MTU engines give Principessa Capricciosa a 42-knot cruise and a 49-knot top speed, figures that put her firmly in sports-yacht territory, built for a fast run rather than a leisurely one. A 320-nautical-mile range keeps her within reach of the next coastline rather than a long crossing.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, sunpads and a lounge cover the foredeck, the aft deck is set up for dining, and the flybridge carries more sunbeds for high-speed cruising or lying still. A swimming platform, bow and stern thrusters and underwater lights round out the practical side, with wifi and air conditioning throughout.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
