Sixty Two Motor Yacht

Poltrona Frau furnished the interior of Sixty Two, and a 2023 refit carried the same care through the rest of this 62ft (19m) Pershing motor yacht, launched in 2017.

Where she cruises

Tokyo is her home port, and Sixty Two cruises in Japan and in Japan alone, working through the year rather than moving between seasons.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six: two hold queen beds and the third is a twin. A crew of three runs her, a crew member for every two guests aboard overnight, and her peak months are April, May, October and November.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots with 40 in reserve, which brings an anchorage further along the coast within reach.

On deck

The aft deck window raises and lowers into the main salon, so the inside and the cockpit open to each other. A cockpit shower takes the salt off after a swim and the swim platform puts the water a step away, while a barbecue grill and an induction stove keep the cooking on board.

Water toys

A Williams Tender 325 Turbojet stows in her garage and handles the trips ashore, and a three-person banana boat tows three riders at a time; snorkelling gear is aboard for a look at what is under the surface.

Charter notes

Televisions, a Bluetooth speaker and karaoke let a group make its own entertainment on board. She suits a family or friends taking her for a week, with six sleeping aboard, and she is also available for three days or a single day's hire, when twelve can come along – twice the number who stay the night.
