Mavis Motor Yacht
About Mavis
Since Pershing delivered her in 2019, Mavis has been used only privately, the kind of history a survey reads quickly. At 92 feet and 115 gross tons, she is a sports yacht built for speed rather than volume, and she now lies in Split, Croatia, offered through Boatcrowd.
Build and provenance
She is a Pershing 9X, built in 2019 from composite construction that includes carbon fibre, which keeps her light for her length. The result is the sculpted, side-winged profile that is the yard's signature.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, a full-beam master suite and a VIP among them, with two further guest cabins each carrying its own en suite. Three crew, in two cabins of their own, keep the boat running without asking a guest to lift a finger.
Performance and engineering
Two 2,638 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines carry her to a 36-knot cruise and 41 knots flat out, true sports-yacht numbers that put Split's islands within a lunchtime run. Stabilisation and integrated navigation keep that speed usable underway, not just a figure on a spec sheet.
On deck and at anchor
A swimming platform opens her stern to the water, and sunpads give guests somewhere to lie between swims. A tender garage keeps the toys out of sight until they're wanted, and air conditioning throughout means the Adriatic heat stays outside.
Where she lies and how to see her
Mavis lies in Split, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and is there for each one, and once a buyer's offer is accepted, we bring in the surveyor and schedule the sea trial before anything is signed.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
