About Nova
Nova is built for the run out and the afternoon that follows, not for a long passage. Pershing's carbon-fibre construction keeps her light enough for a 41-knot cruise, and Top System TS100 surface drives are part of why that speed feels flat rather than laboured. She was delivered in 2021, and everything about her, from the aft cockpit to the swim platform, points at a day spent on the water.
Build and provenance
Pershing built Nova in 2021 as an 8X, and her hull is glass-fibre, built using the carbon-fibre construction the yard calls its X Generation, which is what keeps a 25-metre yacht light enough for her turn of speed. No refit is recorded since delivery, so the boat a surveyor inspects is the one that left the yard.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests are accommodated across three cabins, with a crew of three to run her. Below deck is built for sleeping and quiet, while the cockpit, bow and upper deck carry the daytime living that a fast, open sports yacht is designed around.
Performance and engineering
Twin 2,638 hp MTU 16V2000 M96L engines, matched to Top System TS100 surface drives, take Nova to a 41-knot cruise and a 48-knot top speed. A Seakeeper gyro and stabilisers, both underway and at anchor, keep the ride level at speed and settle her once she stops, and joystick control with dynamic positioning make close-quarters handling and holding a position straightforward.
On deck and at anchor
A hydraulic swim platform and a passerelle handle access to the water, and a tender garage keeps a tender aboard rather than towed. Underwater lights extend the evening once she is anchored for the night.
Where she lies and how to see her
Nova lies in Fort Lauderdale. Boatcrowd sets up a viewing and is there with you for it, and a survey and sea trial follow once an offer on her is accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
