Cherry Motor Yacht

An e-foil goes to sea with Cherry, and so does gear for fishing and for snorkelling, so the water she lies in is there to be fished and looked into as well as swum in. She is an 84ft (26m) Pershing motor yacht built in 2023.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep nine guests: a king, a queen, two twins and a pullman berth for the ninth. By day she takes twelve, so more people can join her on the water than sleep aboard overnight, and a crew of three runs her.

Comfort under way

Cherry cruises at 41 knots with 48 available when it is wanted, and her fuel use is 820 litres an hour. Her stabilisers are rated for two states, at speed and at zero speed, so the roll of a hull as quick as hers is checked while she runs and again while she sits at anchor.

Water toys

Eight toys travel with her. An 11ft Williams Jet Tender is what takes guests ashore, a Seadoo Spark Trixx jet ski and a Seabob are aboard for the water around her, and a Jobe Double Trouble towable is there to be pulled behind. Two Jobe floating mats give two places to lie on the sea, and the swim platform makes getting in and out of the water a matter of a step rather than a climb.

Where she cruises

Cherry is based at Monte Carlo in Monaco, and she cruises Monaco and France, so the guest who boards her in her home port is already in her cruising grounds.

Charter notes

Cherry suits two couples or a family who number up to nine, and she is hired for a week, for three days or for a single day, with July and August the height of her season, so a first charter with her need not be a full week.
