Yes – the Kornati archipelago is one of the primary reasons to charter from Šibenik. The outer islands lie roughly two hours’ cruise from the marina, and a typical seven-day itinerary includes two to three nights anchored in Kornati’s sheltered channels, combined with stops at Tela’scica Nature Park, Primo’sten, and the offshore island of ’Zlarin. Entry permits are arranged through your captain.
For peak-season departures in July and August, booking five to eight months ahead is recommended to secure the best yachts for Kornati itineraries. Šibenik sees slightly less demand pressure than Split, so shoulder-season voyages in May–June or September can often be confirmed with three months’ notice and offer wider yacht availability.
Šibenik is an excellent base for a family charter. The Krka waterfalls are a natural playground that children love, and the calm, sheltered waters between the Kornati islands offer gentle swimming conditions. Most yachts carry paddleboards, snorkelling gear, and water toys, and the crew can organise shore excursions that blend fun with the region’s rich history.
The base rate covers the yacht, professional crew, insurance, and standard onboard equipment including water toys. Fuel, provisioning, berthing fees, and Kornati park entry permits fall under the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), typically 25–35% of the charter fee. Croatian VAT at 13% applies, and your captain provides a full APA accounting at the end of the voyage.
