About Bel 1

Two parts of Bel 1 open outwards to the sea: the enclosed beach club, whose sides fold down to become a terrace at the waterline, and the main-deck lounge, where balconies on either side swing open so the room looks straight out over the water. She is a 164ft (50m) Rossinavi superyacht delivered in 2024, and Enrico Gobbi has given her an interior of dark colours, custom art and furnishings that feels warm against the blue outside the glass.

Comfort under way

Four stabiliser fins work with her stopped as well as moving, so the roll stays down at anchor and under way alike. Twin Caterpillar engines give her a 13-knot cruise and 16 knots at full speed, using 220 litres of fuel an hour at cruising pace, and three Caterpillar generators supply her electrical power.

On deck

Her sun deck carries a mini pool, a barbecue and a sunbathing area, and on the upper deck a dining veranda closes off behind sliding glass panels and is served from a bar of its own, so a meal outside can be had with the glass shut or drawn back. The upper deck also holds a gym, with a treadmill and a Kinesis machine to train on while she is at sea.

Water toys

A 37' Axopar is her main tender and a 20' Zodiac RIB her second, so two boats can be in the water at the same time. Two Yamaha Waverunners and two Seabobs travel with her, and behind a towline she offers water skis, a wakeboard, a wakesurf board and inflatable tows, while two stand-up paddleboards take two paddlers and snorkelling gear opens up what lies under the surface.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Monte Carlo, and Monaco, France and Italy make up the near end of her range, with Corsica and Sardinia the islands within it. Off Corsica, the Lavezzi archipelago is a nature reserve whose beaches have been left almost as they were, Palombaggia Beach sets red rock and umbrella pines against white sand, and Sardinia's Maddalena archipelago puts its beaches among pink granite. Her range runs on to Greece, Croatia and Montenegro, and to St Barths, Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in five en suite cabins: an owner's suite on the main deck with a great deal of daylight, three more doubles and a twin, and a pullman berth in the gym adds a bed beyond those. Twelve can be aboard by day, and ten crew look after the party, a crew member for every guest who sleeps aboard.

Charter notes

Bel 1, whose peak months are July and August, suits two couples as well as a family of up to ten, and her charter runs for a full week or, at the shortest, for three days, which brings a hire of Bel 1 within reach of a short stay as well as a long holiday.
