Geco by Armani Superyacht

The owner's suite aboard Geco by Armani has a private salon of 80 sqm and an outdoor area of its own with a 6m pool, which means a swim is possible without leaving the suite. Armani Casa furnished the whole interior, geometric in its volumes and clear in its lines, and that finish runs through a 236ft (72m) superyacht from Admiral built in 2026.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and her Middle East waters run to Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf. The United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain sit within her range too. In the Mediterranean she works France, Italy, Spain, Greece and Croatia, which for the person booking makes a choice of coasts on either sea with the same yacht and the same crew.

Accommodation and crew

Seven cabins sleep twelve guests overnight, and she carries no more than twelve by day either, with the guest cabins beyond the owner's suite finished with the same care as the suite itself. A crew of 21 sail with her – her busiest months run November to March and again June to August – so there are far more crew aboard than there are guests.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 14 knots and reaches 18, built for coastal cruising as much as for a longer passage, and her stabilisers work at anchor and under way, so the roll is checked whether she is making way or lying still.

On deck

Her beach club gives a direct way into the water, and her outside decks hold room to dine in the open air and to lie in the sun, with a deck jacuzzi for a soak in the open. Inside, a gym and a spa with a sauna and steam room cover exercise and recovery, and a dedicated cinema gives a film a room of its own.

Water toys

Geco by Armani carries ten kinds of toy, and the water slide and the inflatable climbing wall are what a family notices: the slide runs off the yacht straight into the sea and the wall gives a way up and over before the drop back in, neither needing an engine. For speed, two Seadoo jet skis put two riders out together, with three Seabob F9S, two Fliteboards and two Awake Ravik electric surfboards alongside them. Two Cudajet underwater scooters and snorkelling gear take the party under the surface rather than across it, four Jobe paddleboards and two inflatable kayaks cover the quiet end, and water skis and towables are pulled behind. A 44ft chase tender carries the party ashore.

Her layout is friendly to children, and Geco by Armani suits a family across several generations as well as two couples. She can be hired by the week or for as little as three days, so a shorter stay aboard is on offer as well as the full week.
