Friend's Boat Motor Yacht

A 2022 refit left Friend's Boat in as-new condition, and what marks her out at 86ft (26m) is the full-beam master suite on her main deck, rare in this size range. She is a Custom Made motor yacht, built in 2008.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests: the master, with a king-size bed and a double-shower ensuite; a full-width VIP below that is slightly larger; and two twin cabins, one of them convertible to a double. All four are oversized, with walk-in closets. Four crew run her – a captain, a chef, a stewardess and a first mate – a crew member for every two guests.

Comfort under way

Stabilisers hold her steady at anchor and under way, so there is less roll in both states, and she keeps a level, quiet ride. Cruising is 10 knots with 14 available, and at cruising speed she burns 150 litres an hour.

On deck

The upper deck splits into separate areas for eating and for sitting out, and the sundeck carries a cinema under the open sky, while a swim platform puts guests straight into the water.

Water toys

A 19ft VSR tender takes guests ashore, and the toys run from a jet ski and a Flyboard to two SUP boards, two kayaks, water skis, a wakeboard, a towable sofa and snorkelling gear.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Šibenik in Croatia, where she is the longest of the 14 yachts based, and she cruises the islands and bays of Croatia before heading south to Montenegro.

Charter notes

Friend's Boat suits a family or a group of friends: eight sleep aboard and up to 18 can be on board by day, with July and August her busiest months. The master and the VIP are close in size, which works for two principal couples, and she is available as a day rental as well as by the week.
