Šibenik Itineraries: Day Charters and Multi‑Day Routes
Šibenik’s cruising ground stretches from the Krka River gorge inland to the Kornati archipelago offshore, with the car‑free islands of the Šibenik archipelago and the picture‑perfect town of Primošten in between. The 3‑day and 4‑day itineraries below cover different ground and can be combined into a 7‑day voyage without repeating a single anchorage. Every route is fully customisable.

3‑Day Šibenik Yacht Charter Itinerary: Krka, Archipelago and Primošten
Day 1: Šibenik to Skradin and Krka National Park
Board your yacht at D‑Marin Mandalina by mid‑morning. Cruise 9 nautical miles to Skradin and take the park ferry to Skradinski Buk. Spend the morning walking the boardwalks through Europe’s largest travertine cascades, then return to your yacht in Skradin for a chef‑prepared lunch on the aft deck. In the afternoon, explore Skradin’s Venetian‑era lanes and waterfront cafés. Cruise back to Šibenik’s harbour by late afternoon. Walk the old town, visit the Cathedral of St James (the 71 sculpted faces on the apse are best in the late‑afternoon light), and climb to Barone Fortress for panoramic views over the channel, the harbour and the islands. Dinner ashore at Pelegrini (refined Dalmatian, truffle dishes and braised meats) or at a waterfront konoba.
Day 2: Šibenik Archipelago – Zlarin, Prvić and Kaprije
Cruise through the St Anthony Channel to Zlarin (25 minutes). Visit the coral museum, browse the Zlarinka jewellery workshop, and swim off the quiet western beaches. Hop to Prvić (10 minutes) for the Faust Vrančić Memorial Centre and a chef‑prepared lunch on the aft deck anchored in the harbour. In the afternoon, cruise south to Kaprije (roughly 10 nautical miles) – a quiet island named after its wild capers, with a tiny harbour, clear swimming coves and virtually no other visitors. Anchor overnight in Kaprije’s sheltered bay.
Day 3: Kaprije to Primošten and Return to Šibenik
Cruise south‑east from Kaprije to Primošten (roughly 10 nautical miles). Anchor off the peninsula for a morning swim and a walk through the old town – the white limestone buildings climbing the hill to the Church of St George are endlessly photogenic. Your chef prepares a farewell lunch on the aft deck as the yacht cruises north along the coast back to Šibenik (12 nautical miles), arriving by mid‑afternoon with time for a last stroll through the old town.
4‑Day Šibenik Yacht Charter Itinerary: Kornati, Krka and the Islands
Day 1: Šibenik to the Šibenik Archipelago
Board at D‑Marin Mandalina by mid‑morning and cruise to Zlarin (25 minutes). Coral museum, jewellery workshop and a swim off the main beach. Hop to Prvić for the parachute‑inventor memorial and lunch at a waterfront konoba. In the afternoon, cruise south to Kaprije (10 nautical miles) and anchor in the quiet harbour for dinner on the aft deck.
Day 2: Kaprije to the Kornati (Southern Approach)
Cruise north‑west from Kaprije toward the southern edge of the Kornati National Park (roughly 12 nautical miles). Enter the labyrinth of barren, sculptural islands from the south – a different perspective from the Zadar approach. Anchor in a sheltered bay for a morning snorkel over rocky reef, then tender ashore to a konoba on one of the outer islands for a lunch of grilled lamb and fresh fish. Explore the narrow channels in the afternoon, with your captain threading between islands barely 50 metres apart. Anchor overnight in the Kornati – the silence and star‑filled sky are unforgettable.
Day 3: Kornati to Murter and Primošten
Cruise east out of the Kornati to Murter (roughly 7 nautical miles) – the gateway island to the park. Berth briefly to provision or explore, then cruise south along the coast to Primošten (roughly 15 nautical miles). Anchor off the peninsula for an afternoon swim and an old‑town walk. Dinner ashore at a waterfront restaurant – fresh grilled fish, Dalmatian salad and a glass of Babić (an indigenous red grape grown on the terraced vineyards around Primošten).
Day 4: Primošten to Skradin (Krka) and Return to Šibenik
Cruise north‑west to Skradin (roughly 20 nautical miles). Take the park ferry to Skradinski Buk for a morning at the waterfalls, then return to your yacht for a farewell lunch on the aft deck. Your chef serves Dalmatian octopus peka, grilled Adriatic prawns and a crisp local white. Cruise the final 9 nautical miles back to Šibenik, arriving by late afternoon. The 4‑day route can be combined with the 3‑day archipelago–Primošten itinerary for a comprehensive 7‑day charter covering two national parks, two UNESCO sites, and the full Šibenik archipelago.
