Fellow III Motor Yacht

Her bathing platform lowers hydraulically to meet the water, so getting in and out is a step rather than a scramble, and a docking joystick with a wireless yacht controller takes the work out of berthing. Fellow III is an Azimut, a 53ft (16m) motor yacht launched in 2017.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep five, two with double beds and the third with a single, and two bathrooms with separate showers serve them. Air conditioning and heating run in the salon, the cabins and the outside cockpit, and the owner's cabin has a safe and a television of its own. A crew of three looks after as few as five guests aboard.

Comfort under way

Fellow III cruises at 22 knots and will run to 32, which puts a bay further along the coast within reach, and an autopilot, trim flaps and a strong bow thruster with a stern thruster to match make the close work in harbour undramatic.

On deck

The cockpit table drops to form a sunbed, the cockpit furniture holds a wetbar with a fridge and an icemaker, and the hardtop opens electrically. A sunpad sits on the bow, and a hot and cold shower at the stern rinses off the salt.

Water toys

A dinghy with an outboard travels on her platform for trips ashore, a jet ski can come along for a rider at a time, and snorkelling gear is aboard for a look below the surface.

Where she cruises

Sibenik is her home port, and she stays within Croatia, July and August being her busiest months.

Charter notes

A day hire or three days are both on offer, and by day Fellow III can have twelve aboard rather than the five who sleep in her cabins, which leaves a family room to bring friends along in Croatia.
