Gulf Craft Yacht Charter

Mohammed Hussein Alshaali and a small team started building fibreglass fishing boats and runabouts in Ajman in 1982. Gulf Craft has since produced more than ten thousand vessels and become the largest builder in the Middle East, working from a 43,000 square metre yard at Umm Al Quwain.

About the shipyard

The move upmarket came in stages: the Adora 53 in 1992, then the 26m Majesty 86 in 1997, and a dedicated Majesty Yachts division in 2003. That range now reaches well past 50m, which puts it in direct competition with European yards rather than beneath them. Alongside it sit the long-range Nomad explorers, the SilverCat catamarans and the smaller Oryx cruisers.

The detail that matters for a charterer is climate. These boats are specified for a heat most builders treat as an edge case — air conditioning, shade and ventilation engineered for a Gulf summer rather than a Mediterranean one — and that pays off anywhere hot.
