Singapore itself has little cruising water, so cruising from here usually means leaving it: the Riau Islands of Indonesia to the south, the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, and further afield Phuket and the Andaman Sea in the northern winter. A yacht's range, draught and flag decide how easily she makes those passages, so check all three against your plans before an offer.

VAT paid means European Union value added tax has been settled on the yacht and she can be used privately in EU waters without a further liability arising from that. VAT unpaid means it has not been settled, which suits a buyer who will keep the yacht outside the EU or import her under an arrangement of their own. The difference is a significant part of the asking price, so it is worth establishing before an offer is made. Where the seller has given us the status, it is printed on the listing.
