Build and provenance
Bluegame completed the Bluegame BGX70 II in 2022. She draws 5.25 feet and carries a three cabin, three head layout, with a saloon that opens directly onto the exterior so the indoor and outdoor spaces read as one room rather than two.
Layout and accommodation
Six guests sleep across the three cabins, each served by its own head, and large windows carry natural light through the saloon rather than leaving the space to artificial lighting alone. The current owners have run her with a minimal crew, which for a buyer signals a boat set up to be simple to operate rather than one that needs a full complement to manage.
Performance and engineering
Twin Volvo Penta IPS drives run on diesel, and a Seakeeper gyro stabiliser keeps her level at anchor as well as under way. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
