About Starlight
Two 1,800 hp MAN V12 engines set the tone for this flybridge motor yacht: enough power for confident open-water cruising, with 525 hours on the clocks so far. Princess built Starlight in 2021, and she lies for sale in Singapore.
Build and provenance
Princess Yachts designed her interior through its own in-house Design Studio, with gloss Silver Oak cabinetry and walnut flooring in the galley and wheelhouse. Her stabiliser system works both under way and at zero speed, so she sits level at anchor as well as on passage.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep aboard Starlight across four cabins, including a full-beam master stateroom, with marble floors in the guest bathrooms. The flybridge doubles as an entertaining deck, and a servery in the cockpit keeps food and drink moving between the two levels.
Performance and engineering
Two ONAN generators, rated at 27 kW each and running on a 50 Hz supply, back up the hotel systems when the main engines are off, giving her redundancy in a marina or on a long stay at anchor. A fin stabiliser system holds her steady at rest as well as under way, and bow and stern thrusters take the weight out of close-quarters handling.
On deck and at anchor
A spa bath on the flybridge gives her a second place to unwind above the saloon, and a wine cooler in the galley keeps a table properly stocked. A Seabob and underwater lights round out the time spent off the back of the boat after dark.
Where she lies and how to see her
Starlight lies in Singapore. Boatcrowd puts viewings together and is there for each one, and once an offer on her is accepted we organise the survey and the sea trial that follow.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
