Seven Sins Superyacht

A beach club brings the guests of Seven Sins down to the surface of the sea, and the gym, spa, steam room and sauna she carries make her as much a place to recover as to swim. Officina Italiana Design drew both her exterior and her interior, so a single eye runs from her profile through to her rooms, and Sanlorenzo built her in 2017 as a 171ft (52m) superyacht.

On deck

Her own swimming pool and a deck jacuzzi mean that time in water need not involve going over the side at all, while a swim platform makes the step into the sea itself easy when the party wants it. Her cinema, with video on demand and satellite television, lets the whole group sit down to a film together, and she is air-conditioned, so the interior stays cool.

Water toys

Ten toys travel with Seven Sins. Among them are a Seadoo jet ski and a Seabob; a water ski, a wakeboard and a towable tube are for being pulled along the surface, SUP boards and a canoe reward whoever prefers to paddle, and an inflatable trampoline and a set of inflatable toys float off her for jumping and drifting about. Snorkelling gear is there for looking beneath the surface, and a beach tender carries guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Tobago Cays in the Grenadines is her home port, and from there Seven Sins works the Grenadines, Barbados, Grenada and St Lucia, four different pieces of Caribbean water rather than a single shoreline, each a separate ground to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests and nine crew look after them, which leaves the ten with very nearly a crew member each, and it is from December through March that she has her peak.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers work with her lying still as well as on passage, so she rolls less at anchor and under way alike, and she cruises at 15 knots with 25 knots available when there is water to cover.

Charter notes

Seven Sins suits two couples sharing her, or a family, and her charter runs by the week. Eighteen can be aboard by day, so a hire that starts with ten can open to a much larger party without anyone needing a bed.
