Grenadines · Charter cost
How much does a yacht charter in the Grenadines cost?
Charter pricing has a reputation for being deliberately opaque. It is not, once you know the four things you are actually paying for. This page sets out how a charter in the Grenadines is priced, what sits inside the headline figure and what sits outside it, so that you can read a quote and know whether it is a fair one before you speak to anyone.
The figures come from the fleet we represent in the Grenadines and are refreshed nightly. They are the shape of the market rather than a quote: a binding quote comes from the yacht owner or operator company for your specific dates.
A charter is priced by the yacht for the whole boat, not per person. Typical week rates: All sizes, $58,000 to $290,663. Typical day rates: All sizes, $9,000 to $36,420. On top of the charter fee, budget around 25% for the APA, no charter tax and a discretionary crew gratuity of around 10%.
What You Are Actually Paying For
A crewed charter has four parts. Only the first is the figure you see advertised, which is why a quote can look like a surprise when it is really just the same charter written out in full.
