Valentina Sailing Catamaran

Diving from Valentina is arranged on a rendezvous basis, with a local dive operator meeting the boat, and she carries fishing gear as well. She is a Lagoon sailing catamaran of 62ft (19m), built in 2013 and refitted in 2024.

On deck

Life aboard spreads over three levels: cushions and trampolines forward, an aft deck with a bar, coolers and a dining table for six, so everyone aboard can sit down together, and a flybridge with lounging space, a sound system and views in every direction. Clear weather screens shelter the aft deck and the flybridge, and inside the salon has panoramic windows and a television that retracts.

Water toys

A Seabob, two paddleboards, a kayak and a wakeboard travel with her, along with towable and floating inflatables and snorkelling gear. The 14ft tender carries eight, so a full boat can go ashore at once.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Bequia, in the Grenadines. Much of her sailing stays in the Grenadines, and she also reaches St Martin, St Barths and Guadeloupe. Antigua and Barbuda and the British and US Virgin Islands are in range too, a wider choice of islands.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins, each with a queen bed, sleep six, with three heads and full showers. Each cabin has its own air-conditioning control and USB outlets, and there is Wi-Fi aboard. Valentina is owner-run, crewed by a captain and a chef who doubles as first mate, and her busiest months are January, February, March and December.

Comfort under way

Under sail she makes 9 knots, with 12 at the top end, and a watermaker keeps her tanks filled, so the freshwater deck shower is there to rinse the salt off after a swim.

Charter notes

Rental runs by the week, which suits a family or a group of friends travelling together, and the swim platform puts the water within easy reach.
