Anini Sailing Catamaran

A refit in 2020 brought Anini up to date, and the boat underneath it is a 69ft (21m) sailing catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, built in 2010 and set up to carry eight guests under sail.

Water toys

Almost everything she carries works straight off her deck: SUP boards and a kayak for paddling around an anchorage, a windsurf rig, water skis and snorkelling gear. Her beach tender handles the trips ashore, so going ashore never means moving the boat.

Where she cruises

Anini sails the British Virgin Islands and the USVI, with St Martin, Anguilla and St Barths in her range. Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia and Grenada carry that range south, which gives a group separate islands to choose between rather than a single coastline.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, with a crew of three aboard looking after them. Air conditioning below and Wi-Fi throughout mean cabins stay cool and messages home get through.

Comfort under way

Under sail she settles at 8 knots and tops out at 14, and her busiest months fall between December and April.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends who want swimming and paddling within reach through the day rather than long hours on the move. She can also be taken out for a single day with twelve aboard, so a wider circle than the eight who sleep on her can share the water, and day hire is part of what she offers.
