Double Happiness Power Catamaran

Divers are looked after aboard Double Happiness by rendezvous diving, and by day she carries twelve while eight sleep over, so a larger party can be aboard in daylight than stays the night. She is a 60ft (18m) power catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, built in 2024.

Comfort under way

Two hulls keep her level, as they do on any catamaran, and with 8 knots as her cruising speed and 10 knots her top she covers her ground without hurry. Starlink internet holds a connection when she is away from harbour, which means the link does not depend on a marina.

On deck

Her aft cockpit spans the full beam and holds an open-air dining area, a daybed and a bar, and a hydraulic platform lowers for sunbathing and for stepping into the water directly from her. A bow terrace adds a second place to sit in the open, with sunpads for lying in the sun, and the flybridge carries modular seating and a barbecue, so a meal can be grilled and eaten up there in the air.

Water toys

Her water toys lean to the electric: a single Seabob and a single e-foil, alongside two paddleboards, water skis, a wakeboard, a Jobe donut for towing and inflatable toys, with four pairs of goggles and fins for snorkelling. Her captain is a watersports instructor, so the wakeboard comes with someone able to teach it. A SportJet 435 tender takes guests ashore, and two electric bicycles and two electric scooters are part of the hire for time on land.

Where she cruises

Double Happiness has her home port at St Vincent, in the Grenadines, and she also operates in Grenada, Martinique, St Martin and the British Virgin Islands, among other grounds. Between them, the Grenadines and the rest of her range give the Caribbean's clear water for swimming and its beaches for going ashore.

Accommodation and crew

Four double cabins sleep her eight overnight guests, the master stateroom with its own ensuite, and the main saloon is glazed all round, so the inside is light. A crew of three – a captain and two others – looks after those eight, her peak falling in December and the first three months of the year, and her cook-stewardess holds a PADI Open Water certificate and teaches yoga.

Charter notes

Double Happiness suits a family or a group of friends with divers among them, and she can be booked for a week's charter or for three days, so a shorter stay is open to a party that cannot spare the full week.
