Cosmopolitan Power Catamaran

A Jetsurf and a Seabob travel with Cosmopolitan, and she can take twenty-one guests aboard for a day on the water. She is a 51ft (16m) power catamaran from Leopard Catamarans, delivered in 2018.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six guests overnight, far fewer than she holds by day, and they are air-conditioned, with WiFi aboard for anyone who has to stay reachable. A crew of two runs her, so the boat handling is never the guests' concern.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 10 knots and tops out at 14, which leaves a little in reserve when she has to reposition.

Water toys

Ten toys come with her. A Seabob and a Jetsurf are aboard, and for anyone who wants to be towed there is a wakeboard, a kneeboard and a towable tube, along with inflatable toys. Quieter going is covered by a kayak and two SUP boards, so two paddlers can set off together, and there is snorkelling gear as well as fishing tackle.

Where she cruises

Simpson Bay in St Martin is Cosmopolitan's home port, and she also cruises to St Barths and Anguilla, which gives a group three sets of waters to pick an anchorage in rather than the same bay twice.

Charter notes

Cosmopolitan suits a family or a group of friends, and she is available for a full day or a half-day hire, her busiest months being January, February, March and December. A large party of twenty-one can come aboard for the day, while six have the cabins when the plan runs longer.
