Double Happiness Power Catamaran
About Double Happiness
Sunreef Yachts delivered her in 2024 as a hybrid catamaran built around electric power rather than diesel, and she comes to market through Boatcrowd out of the Grenadines.
Build and provenance
She left the yard as a 60 Sunreef Power Eco, a diesel-electric catamaran with two 120 kW electric motors backed by two 150 hp Yanmar generators acting as range extenders. At 33 gross tons and with a 10.7-metre beam, she carries proper volume for a 60-foot hull, and her hull and superstructure are GRP throughout. Her engines already show 1,200 hours, so she has had genuine use rather than sitting idle since delivery.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep aboard Double Happiness across four cabins, with a crew of three looking after them. The primary suite sits aft in the port hull with its own larger bathroom, and three further cabins each keep their own ensuite. The saloon spans the full 10.7-metre beam between her two hulls, which keeps the guest table and the galley in one open room rather than split fore and aft.
Performance and engineering
Her propulsion pairs two 120 kW electric motors with two 150 hp Yanmar generators for charging underway, giving a cruising speed of eight knots and a top speed of ten. At anchor, the battery bank keeps her quiet through the night without a generator running, and her tank supports a range of 5,500 nautical miles between fills. For a buyer, that combination means long range with minimal noise, whether motoring or sitting still.
On deck and at anchor
A solar skin covers part of her exterior, adding another way to top up the battery bank without running an engine, whether she is under way or sitting at anchor.
Where she lies and how to see her
Double Happiness lies in the Grenadines. Boatcrowd sets up viewings out there and comes along for them, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before the sale closes. She also charters through Boatcrowd, so a week aboard is possible before you commit to buying her outright.

Also Available to Charter
She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
