Omnia I Sailing Catamaran
About Omnia I
A beach tender travels with Omnia I, which means going ashore is a matter of stepping into it rather than waiting for a berth. She is a 46ft (15m) Lagoon sailing catamaran, built in 2020.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 8 knots and makes 10 at the top end, an unhurried pace that lets the sailing itself be part of the day. Being a catamaran she stays level rather than heeling, so moving about the deck stays easy while she is sailing.
Water toys
Snorkelling gear is carried for swimming stops, and the beach tender is the way ashore and back again.
Where she cruises
Crete, in Greece, is the home port of Omnia I. Greece, Turkey and Cyprus all sit within her cruising range, so a group can settle on a single coast or move between them.
Accommodation and crew
Five cabins sleep twelve guests, and twelve is also the number she can take for a day on the water; her peak falls in July and August. A crew of two runs her, and with air conditioning and Wi-Fi aboard the cabins stay cool and the group stays in touch.
Charter notes
She works for a family spread across all five cabins, or for two couples who want the room that twelve berths leave them. She can also be hired for a day or for three days, so a shorter trip is open to a group that cannot give up a whole week.
