Sea Energy V Sailing Catamaran
About Sea Energy V
Fishing gear travels with Sea Energy V, so a line can go over the side wherever she drops anchor. Fountaine Pajot launched her in 2017, a 50ft (16m) sailing catamaran.
Comfort under way
Her cruising speed is 9 knots, with 15 knots at the top of her range, so distances between anchorages pass at an unhurried pace.
Water toys
Eight toys come aboard with her. Paddleboards and a kayak give a quiet way of reaching a beach, water skis, a wakeboard and towable inflatables cover the faster end of the water, and snorkelling gear opens up what lies under the boat. A beach tender carries guests ashore.
Where she cruises
Her home port is in the Cyclades, and her cruising takes in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, three countries of harbours, beaches and quiet bays, with the islands of Greece closest to hand.
Accommodation and crew
Five cabins take ten guests overnight, and a crew of three is aboard to look after them. She carries air conditioning and Wi-Fi, which keeps the interior cool and the group in touch with home.
Charter notes
Sea Energy V suits a family of up to ten, and just as well couples sailing with friends; besides the week-long charter, with July and August the busiest months of her year, she takes a three-day or day hire, and twelve can be aboard for a day on the water.
